These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of free-ai.website (the "Site") operated by Free AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Description of Service

Free AI provides a collection of free, open-source, copy-paste-ready UI components designed for building AI-powered applications. The components are built with React, Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn UI. The Site also provides a curated library of free AI resources, tools, and educational materials.

3. Component License and Usage

3.1 License Grant

All component source code published on the Site is provided under the MIT License unless otherwise specified. You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Use, copy, modify, and distribute the component code
  • Include the components in personal and commercial projects
  • Create derivative works based on the components
  • Sublicense the component code as part of your own projects

3.2 Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but not required when using individual components. However, you may not present the entire collection as your own product or create a competing component library using substantially all of our components.

3.3 No Warranty on Components

Components are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The suitability of components for any particular purpose
  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any component code
  • That components will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • Compatibility with any specific framework version or environment

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

  1. Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  2. Scrape, crawl, or spider the Site in a manner that places undue load on our infrastructure
  3. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems
  4. Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the Site
  5. Reproduce, duplicate, or copy the entire Site for the purpose of creating a competing service
  6. Use automated systems to access the Site at a rate that exceeds reasonable usage

5. Intellectual Property

The Free AI brand name, logo, website design, layout, and original written content (excluding component source code) are the intellectual property of Free AI and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these elements without prior written permission.

5.2 Third-Party Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, resources, and tools. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Links to external resources do not constitute endorsement.

6. External Resources

The AI Resources Library on the Site links to third-party tools, APIs, and services. We make no guarantees regarding:

  • The continued availability or pricing of linked resources
  • The accuracy of descriptions of third-party services
  • The quality, safety, or legality of third-party services

Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and conditions.

7. Advertising

The Site displays advertisements through Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or any transactions between you and advertisers. Your interaction with advertisers is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Free AI, its owner, operators, or affiliates be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Site or components
  • Damages resulting from any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Damages resulting from any bugs, viruses, or errors in any component code

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, which in most cases is $0.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Free AI and its owner from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal legal proceedings.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
